Sites were so wet and soggy after a previous storm that our camper got stuck. Owner/manager was not available to find, and didn't talk to us until the day we left. The office is not open during the week so come prepared if you need anything. The dump station and playground is on the other side of the campground, and close to impossible to get to with a camper to empty our tanks, good thing we had a portable sewage tank, but there's a steep hill to climb just to get to the other side. The bathrooms and showers are outdated and dirty, not sure if they are cleaned regularly. The beach area was OK, weedy though. The sites are located next to a swamp, and you often can smell it, and the bugs are huge!

If I could give zero stars I would. Maintenance people are lazy, "playground" for the kids is probably bordering on dangerous based on today's safety standards. We were seasonal there for a very long time with zero updates to the playground. They have a bunch of rules, but only enforce them on certain campsites. On-site boat launch is garbage, swimming beach is full of weeds. They refuse to update power service to the sites so if you have a newer camper requiring 30 amp service don't expect to get that no matter what they say. They advertise bait available but rarely have any. Advertise ice available but only ever have minimal numbers of bags in the freezer if any at all. You walk in to get ice or bait and you get stared at if you are not a regular visitor.

Nice place bugs were really thick when we went and they could use an upgraded play gym for the kids but a nice place

It's an average campground.

Had a seasonal at Olson's for 30 years! Great little community away from home.
